Powered On for Use.
Powered Off for Safety.
Docking Drawer Safety Outlets automatically control power inside your appliance garage. For lift door designs, power turns off when the doors are fully closed — delivering Canada’s most code-compliant solution.
What's Included in Your Lift Door Solution

Safety Outlet
Includes a Safety Disconnect that wires in series with two included AC outlets (4 receptacles total) to safely connect up to four devices.

Magnetic Switch
A reliable, non-contact switch that works with the Safety Disconnect to automatically power off when the doors are fully closed — ensuring safety, CEC compliance, and peace of mind.

Additional Magnetic Switch
For two-door setups, an extra switch ensures power only turns on when both doors are open, keeping your appliance garage safe and compliant.
How to Locate the Safety Disconnect
Our modular system offers flexible options to configure placement based on your project's design needs:
- The Safety Disconnect can easily install in a triple-gang juncition box with the two included AC outlets.
- For a more concealed setup, the Safety Disconnect can be installed in a cabinet below while placing the outlets above for a clean, seamless look.
How to Locate the Switch
For the cleanest look and simplest installation, we recommend placing the magnetic switch in the lower corner of the appliance garage—left or right—keeping the setup discreet and consistent.
- For two-door designs, one switch is installed behind each door so that power only turns on when both doors are open.
- The magnet may be surface-mounted with the included screw or recessed into the door for a minimal finish.
- Switch placement is flexible and can be at the top, bottom, or middle of the opening, as long as the magnet and switch align within ½″ (up to 1″ with larger magnets) when the door is closed.
- As the door closes and the magnet nears the switch, the switch activates and automatically powers off the outlets, ensuring appliances shut down safely.
