How Do You Install Two Prado Outlets Side-by-Side?
When installing two Prado outlets next to each other for a hardwired set-up, use a standard 4x4in double gang box—any version that meets these dimensions will be compatible. Be sure the spacing between the centers of the two outlets is 1-13/16”, which is also the correct distance when using the small trim ring in a double setup. Be sure to complete your installation with a back box cover plate. If you’re installing self-contained or corded Prado outlets without a small trim ring (in a double or triple configuration), you have the option to increase the center-to-center distance beyond 1-13/16” if you prefer.
