Do you need a special Prado removal tool?
No special removal tool is required. You can easily remove the outlet with your plug and a regular screwdriver—there’s no need for unique equipment.
Pro Tip: When uninstalling the outlet, press it firmly inward toward the wall as you loosen the screws. Maintaining pressure ensures the adjustable lugs stay engaged and retract as intended. If you remove the screws without pushing inward, the screws may back out while the lugs remain in place.
